Soul Piece is a one man indie Platformer/Puzzle game, Telling a story about an infinite war between the ancient Souls, Peace and Chaos where this time Chaos won the battle and Peace was shattered to many pieces collected by Darkness,
Chaos's executioner, yet the war wasn't over as the last piece escaped.
You are the last piece and your duty now is to free all other pieces to revive Peace once again !

am i missing how to save the game?
i've been through at least 6 check points, but when i quit, i can't find a way to save and have to start back at the beginning when i launch the game...

@steelegardens , Thanks for your kind words :) , unfortunately I didn't implement save game yet because the average play time is 1~1:30 hours , however I would like to let you know that I am currently working on it , and a co-op extra content mod that you can check the trailer for here :

In case anyone got stuck in a puzzle or anything , here is a full walk-through for the game.

Oh when you give me a puzzle platformer you give me challenges! I can honestly make the simplest of things difficult!
This demo was a true delight, a very pleasant surprise. I don't think I've played as a ball-like object since Marble Madness, and this format works supremely well.
The way your skills come along just a little bit at a time and help you through the next puzzle is a great way of slowly increasing the difficulty, and aside from a couple of times I got myself hopelessly stuck it's all pretty uncomplicated and accessible.
I do wonder what other talents we can learn, and how the ones we do learn throughout this demo, come into play in the full game!
In some ways it feels like this could be quite Oddworld-ish, where you get thrown in and learn the ropes and then flung into an open-world scenario where you have to use your own judgement when it comes to getting past obstacles, which I would be totally down with!

I went in having only seen the screenshots and this pretty much blew me away. It's simple, focused, calming challenging and just genuinely beautiful. Plus the sense of progression you have throughout keeps things interesting the whole time. I did have a few criticisms regarding the camera and some minor audio and visual touches, but this is great work! (x-post from gamejolt)
